Frequently asked questions
Why won’t Unloc update my steps or calories?
HealthKit updates can be delayed by iOS or your devices (for example, after a watch sync). Open the Health app to confirm data is present, then return to Unloc. Ensure Unloc has permission under Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Unloc.
Screen Time or Family Controls authorization failed
Unloc uses Apple’s Family Controls to apply the restrictions you configure. If authorization fails, open iOS Settings → Screen Time, ensure Screen Time is enabled, and try again from inside Unloc’s onboarding or settings flows. Some configurations require a device passcode and an iCloud account in good standing.
My blocked apps didn’t change when I expected
Blocking follows your available credits and the selections you made inside the App. If credits are exhausted, restricted apps remain unavailable until you earn more. If something looks stuck, force-quit and reopen Unloc, then verify Screen Time permissions.
What happens at midnight?
Unloc is built around daily credits that reset at the start of each calendar day. Earned and used minutes refresh with that cycle so each day starts from your configured baseline.
What’s included in Pro?
Health-backed earn sources (steps, calories, workouts, stand, sleep) are designed as Pro features. The in-app breathing timer remains free. Exact packaging may vary by App Store listing—check the in-app paywall for current offerings.
Sign in with Apple and deleting my link
You can sign in with Apple from Settings for optional features. To remove the Apple ID association, use Delete Account in the App’s account section. If you need server-side data removed after sync launches, [PLACEHOLDER: describe process or SLA].
Analytics
If the App offers a “Share Analytics” toggle, you can turn it off at any time in Settings. See the Privacy Policy for what analytics may collect.
