This Privacy Policy describes how Unloc (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our iOS application (“App”) and when you visit getunloc.com (“Site”). By using the App or Site, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App or Site.

Summary
- Unloc is designed to operate primarily on your device using Apple frameworks (HealthKit, Screen Time, Family Controls).
- We do not sell your personal health data.
- Optional analytics may be collected if you opt in within the App.
- Subscriptions, when available, are processed by Apple; we do not receive your full payment card number.
Information we process
Health and activity data (HealthKit)
With your permission, the App reads limited categories from Apple Health to calculate earn credits, including step count, active energy burned, workouts, Apple Stand Time, and sleep analysis. This data is used to operate the credit features you configure. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising as defined under Apple’s HealthKit guidelines.
Screen Time, Family Controls, and Device Activity
To apply restrictions you choose, the App uses Apple’s Family Controls and Screen Time–related APIs. This may involve storing opaque app selection tokens and usage summaries needed to enforce your rules and show in-app diagnostics. That information is handled on device and in Apple-managed storage as required by the system; it is not used to sell advertising profiles.
Account (Sign in with Apple)
If you choose to sign in with Apple, Apple may share a stable user identifier with the App to support optional features such as cross-device sync when that functionality is available. You can disconnect Apple sign-in from in-app settings; see Your choices and deletion below.
Analytics
The App includes an optional Share analytics toggle (off by default). When you turn it on, we may send limited, event-based product analytics (for example, which screens or features you use) to PostHog to improve Unloc. We do not use analytics to sell your data. PostHog’s own practices are described in their privacy policy. You can disable analytics anytime in the App’s Settings.
Subscriptions and purchases
When in-app purchases or subscriptions are offered, transactions are processed by Apple. We may receive subscription status from Apple or our subscription SDK to unlock features. We do not receive your full card number from Apple.
Website (getunloc.com)
The Site at getunloc.com is largely static. Standard server and CDN logs may include IP address, user agent, and request timestamps when you load pages. [PLACEHOLDER: Hosting provider, e.g. Render, and retention period for logs.]

Retention
Health and Screen Time–related data processed on device follows your device storage and iOS behavior. Server-side data, if any, is retained only as long as needed to provide the service. [PLACEHOLDER: Specific retention windows for analytics or account records.]
Sharing

Children
Unloc is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and deletion
- HealthKit: You can revoke Health access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Unloc.
- Screen Time / Family Controls: You can change or revoke permissions in iOS Settings under Screen Time and Family Controls.
- Account: The App offers a way to disconnect Sign in with Apple from settings. As of this policy version, disconnecting removes the Apple ID link from your profile data we store for that feature; local data on your device may remain until you delete the App or erase device content. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the service. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes
